Section 2: Curly
In section two George and Lennie meet Curly. Curly is the bosses sun so he moves around the ranch whith practical impunity. Most people dislike Curly and as George puts it "This Curly guy sounds like a son of a B***" Curly is really a jerk who makes everybody mad. George foresees problems and tells Lennie to stay away from Curly. That is probably foreshadowing a fight.

Jonah I fully agree with you. I also noticed that Curly thinks that he is better then everyone else just because his father is the ranch boss. I think Curly acts like he is much better then everyone else because he knows he is not. Steinbeck was foreshadowing that Lennie and Curly are going to fight when George specifically tells Lennie to stay away from Curly. Lennie might have to run way to the hiding spot in the woods if he hurts Curly.
