Ant Guide: Taking charge

People that are poor should get a job rather than relying on friends, family, or church.

I strongly agree with this statement. It is important to have friends and family but you can not rely on them forever. Sometimes you have to take charge of your own life and make things better yourself. A librarian once told me a story. " Give a man a fish he has food for one day, teach a man to fish he has food for his entire life." The moral of this story is that you should learn to do things yourself like getting a job and supporting yourself. You should take charge and live the American Dream. Through hard work you can succeed.


I can see how people think that you should rely on your family and friends. You should use your resources. But there comes a point when you have to make thinks better.
