Crooks changed his mind because he thought about all the good things he could have that were not at this farm. Some of those things were respect, and equality. I think Crooks will be in the plan to start a new farm for now. What do you guys think?
I agree with you John. I agree that Crooks will end up joining the plan with George, Lennie, and Candy. This "plan" is to get a lot of land to themselves and for once in their life be proud of something and be happy. I think that this will happen because Crooks is obviously discriminated and separated from others. This is not "fun" for Crooks and he obviously lives a boring life were he is disrespected. Crooks even says, "I ain't wanted in the bunkhouse." This tells us that Crooks is not even allowed to go somewhere he may want to go. This leads us to believe that it would make the most sense if Crooks followed George's plan. This is because Crooks would finally be somewhere where he is respected and accepted for who he is.
